One To One

If getting to the floor is too difficult for you or if you need some additional help with a particular movement problem then you can request a 1:1 lesson. 


In person, hands on lessons take place on a low, padded table and last about one hour. You wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. Using my hands, I gently guide you through a range of safe, easy movement explorations which will be unique to you. These are designed to bring awareness to parts of yourself that may not be moving fully. We move very slowly so as to avoid any areas of discomfort.


In this way we explore how you organise your whole self when you move. Then, together we find ways to re-organise your nervous system to make your movement easier and more efficient. You participate fully in the process and we go at your pace.


Many people find that, as their movement becomes easier, they feel calmer and more at ease within themselves too.


Online 1:1


To make Feldenkrais more widely available and inclusive I also offer online 1:1 lessons. These are ideal if you cannot travel or you simply feel more comfortable accessing services from the comfort of your own home.


Once I understand your particular challenges I can select lessons thats are specifically designed to help bring clarity and ease to these areas, improving your movement choices, mobility and flexibility.

Arranging a one to one

It's always good to meet someone and see how they move before arranging a one to one booking. If you can, come along and try a class or workshop as this gives us an opportunity to meet and I can see how you move.


If you are unable to get to a class or I don't have a live class running then please contact me so we can talk through your particular difficulties and I can establish if a one to one will help.


Generally I am able to do one to one sessions, term time, on Tuesday and Thursday. Other times are available by special arrangement.



Coming for a 1:1?

Wear loose clothing you can move easily in; joggers or leggings are ideal. Wear a long sleeved top and clean socks. No belts as these will cause discomfort when moving.
